Dome panels
R2-D2 has two front logic displays. One above the other. They are small and rectangular. Blue and White flashing lights .Or Blue and Green in my build. Various types of logic displays are available to buy on Astromech but I wanted my ones to be dynamic so that I can display what R2 is saying and thinking on them.

To do this, I have installed 2 raspberry pi pico w microcontrollers and fitting a pico display on each of them.
The pico display is a 1.14" IPS LCD screen capable of showing 240x135 pixels. Its designed to fit onto the picos GPIO pins. So is easy to install and just the right size for R2D2s logic display slots.
I have attached the displays to the dome using elastic bands and my J hooks.
I may change this at a later date but it does the job for now and makes it easy to remove them if needed.
